Amazing environment, great ambiance and a concept to chill, literally, at 21 Fahrenheit in Mumbai.
The 820 square foot bar accommodates 45 guests at a time. The bar is lit up with red and blue lights, decorated with ice carvings on the ice chair and serving drinks in ice glass giving it a jazzy vibe. Guests are given a navy blue furry Parka coat, insulated moon boots and gloves to wear before entering. Ice bars already exist in other countries, but apart from serving drinks, this bar is unique because it also serves hot food — and some of the food is served flambéed.
The cuisine served is contemporary Thai, Sichuan style of Chinese, Awadhi well known as Lucknowi cuisine and Japanese with smart wooden tables and chairs. The restaurant features live Teppanyaki & Sushi counter where guest can interact with the chefs about their personal taste and preference.
The lounge also offers fixed menu items, includings drinks and food, hence its not that heavy on the pocket.
A must try if you are distraught in the heat and humidity of a typical Mumbai afternoon. CHILL OUT !!
