At each destination, a local guide meets you and takes you around the top sights. See many temples, mosques, forts, palaces, markets, and sacred Buddhist, Hindu, and Mughal sites in Mumbai, Karla and Bhaja Caves, Aurangabad, Ajanta, Ellora Caves, Jahaz Mahal, and Sanchi Stup. Enjoy the comfort of a private car and a knowledgeable driver. Day 1: Arrive in Mumbai On arrival at Mumbai airport, meet with our office executive for assistance and transfer to the hotel. Rest time is free for personal activities. Day 2: Mumbai (50 km) Breakfast at the hotel, city tour of Mumbai. Morning: Elephanta Caves Tour The first spot is at Mumbai Harbor, where you will take a ferry ride to Elephanta Island. Day 3: Mumbai-Lonavala (85 km/2 hours) After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Lonavala and check in at the hotel. Later on, visit a group of 22 rock-cut caves known as the Karla and Bhaja caves. Breakfast at the hotel; drive to Burhanpur. En route, visit Ajanta Caves (Monday closed). the Ajanta Caves. Overnight at the hotel in Barhanpur. Day 7: Burhanpur-Asirgarh Fort-Maheshwar (175 km/4 hours, approx.) Breakfast at the hotel. Founded in 1400 AD on the bank of the Tapti River, the historical city of Burhanpur was once the capital of the Mughal Kingdom. Continue driving to Maheshwar and check in at the hotel. Day 8: Maheshwar, Mandu. (125 km/ 3 hours approx.) Breakfast at the hotel: visit the Fort of Maheshwar. After sightseeing in Maheshwar, go to Mandu. Overnight at the hotel in Mandu. Day 9: Mandu-Bhopal (285 km, 6 hours, approx. one way) There is nothing to do in Bhopal today. You can visit the local city by checking into the hotel in Bhopal. Overnight at the hotel in Bhopal. Day 10: Bhopal-Sanchi-Udayagiri-Bhopal (50 km, 1 hour approx.) After breakfast, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Budhist Stupas at Sanchi and Udayagiri Caves. Overnight at the hotel in Bhopal. Day 11: Bhopal After finishing breakfast, proceed to Bhopal after checking at the hotel. You will visit two historic mosques, Jama Masjid and Moti Masjid, as well as the Taj ul Masajid. stay at a hotel in Bhopal. Day 12: Bhopal-Departure select your own destination for your onward journey; simply inform us where to drop you, including the airport, train station, or bus station.
