Masalazone- the ethnic Indian Restaurant offers Indian, Mughlai, Punjabi and Tandoori cuisines. It is split into a small 28-seater air-conditioned section which also houses the kitchen and about a 100 seated al fresco. There is a mini bar on one side of the long, rectangular space and a provision for cricket match screenings on the other, separated in between, by wooden tables and seating with dull orange upholstery.
With delightful ambiance, soothing-enough music, the place on the whole had a nice relaxed mood to itself. It is a place where tension takes a back seat. It offers candle light and open air ambiance facilities. Surely it is a place of paradise for foodies and chilling out on caprioshikas, mojitos and coconut coolers.
It serves freshly prepared and slow-cooked lip-smacking dishes. It gets brownie points for the innovative names used on the menu – starters are called First Impression, main course is Masterpiece and so on. Even the dishes have unique names; Chowk Ki Tikki, Sikandari Raan, Tandoori Pomfret, Ambi Jhinga, Paneer Kurchan, Cheese Se Bhara Kumbh, Tariwala Kukkad, Makhmali Jhinga and Tandoori Kalimirch Chaat will have you licking your fingers and leave you asking for more…
