Top Rated - Accommodation in Mumbai

If you’re looking for accommodation in Mumbai that’s truly stood the test of traveller feedback, this list is where you want to start. These places aren’t just getting one-off five stars, they have strong ratings alongside plenty of guest reviews, so you know they’ve consistently delivered what visitors expect. It’s all about what real people staying here think, not just what an editor guesses might be good.

Most of these top-rated spots are spread out across well-known neighbourhoods like Bandra, Colaba, and Andheri. Each area has its own vibe, so you can pick a place that feels right for your plans. A quick tip for the monsoon season: look for accommodations with good drainage and reliable power backup, since heavy rains sometimes cause local disruptions. That kind of info shows up in guest reviews and can save you needless hassle. It’s worth scrolling through those traveller comments, not just star ratings, to catch practical details like this.

A local stay tip

If you’re staying in Bandra and want a highly rated spot, try to book early for the cooler months from November to February. This is when the area really comes alive with street markets and cafes, and top guest-rated places fill up fast. Also, check if the accommodation has good air conditioning or fans since summers get quite humid, and travelers often mention comfort levels in reviews. Finally, ask around or read recent comments about transport links , Bandra has solid local trains but some guesthouses near the station can be noisy late into the night.
