Start your morning by seeing a side of Mumbai that most visitors miss. This early-morning experience takes you through the city as it wakes up, from working markets and fishing communities to traditional neighbourhoods and the seafront. Meet your local guide at Regal Cinema and begin the journey towards Sassoon Dock, one of Mumbai's oldest working fishing harbours. See fishing boats arriving, local activity around the dock and the Koli fishing community beginning its day. Continue to a newspaper distribution hub, where thousands of newspapers are sorted and dispatched across Mumbai in the early hours of the morning. Next, visit Dhobi Ghat, Mumbai's famous open-air laundry. See the rows of washing areas and the traditional process used to handle laundry from across the city. Continue to Dadar Flower Market, where the morning begins with colourful flowers, vendors and buyers. You will also visit a local vegetable market and see the fast-paced wholesale activity that supplies the city. From the busy markets, take a quieter moment at ISKCON Temple and experience its peaceful atmosphere and distinctive architecture. End the experience at Marine Drive with a morning walk along the waterfront and views of Mumbai's skyline.
