The Ghetto Club

The continuing search for Bombay's best rock pub throws up the Ghetto as another serious contender. The Ghetto Club is well known among the college crowd, gays, lesbians & youth of Mumbai. It has a pool table, dim neon lightings, great music and drinks at affordable rates. The walls are filled with graffiti giving the place a nice feel.

The Ghetto has a really decent DJ playing the usual classic rock, hard rock numbers upto 1:30a.m. He plays Jethrotull followed by Supertramp which can impress anyone. On weekdays and Sundays there is ample space to stretch out and party away with friends. It is quite packed on weekends though.

This place is an alternative hangout for Mumbai's 'beer and rock lovers', the Ghetto Pub as a name is a bit of a misnomer. Off the beaten path in a lane behind the Mahalaxmi Temple, this underground bar and pub is located where theater buffs and college kids shoot pool and graffiti profound thoughts on the walls.

This air conditioned bar offers you various facilities like Dj, serves food, dance floor, games, complimentary bar nibbles and valet parking. This place is moderately prices and you can make payment through cash, visa, Amex or master. There is free cover charge on Sundays.
