Description

Day 01: Kochi – Periyar (Thekkady) (Approx. 160 km / 04–05 hrs.) After breakfast or upon arrival at Kochi Airport / Railway Station, proceed towards Periyar, located in the hills of Thekkady. The scenic drive through lush green countryside, rubber plantations, and spice gardens will delight you along the way. Arrive and check in to your hotel or resort surrounded by spice plantations. Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake where you might spot elephants, sambar deer, wild boars, or various bird species along the shoreline. Visit a spice plantation to learn about Kerala’s famous spices like cardamom, pepper, and cloves. Optional evening activities include a Kathakali dance show or Kalaripayattu martial arts performance. Overnight stay at Periyar. Day 02: Periyar – Alleppey (Approx. 140 km / 04 hrs.) After breakfast, drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha), famously called the Venice of the East. Upon arrival, check in to your traditional Kerala houseboat (Kettuvallam) by noon. Enjoy a welcome drink as the houseboat begins to glide gently through tranquil canals, lagoons, and backwaters. Onboard Experience: Cruise through narrow canals lined with coconut palms and green paddy fields. Watch local village life — fishermen casting nets, children rowing to school, and women washing clothes by the water. Enjoy authentic Kerala-style lunch served on banana leaves. Relax and enjoy the sunset from the sundeck of your houseboat. Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat, anchored in a quiet part of the backwaters. Day 03: Alleppey – Kochi Departure Wake up to the soothing sounds of nature and enjoy your breakfast on the deck as the boat starts its morning cruise. After check-out around 9:00 AM, disembark from the houseboat and drive back to Kochi for your onward journey.

• Car type for 01 to 02 people is an air-conditioned 4-seater Sedan. For 03 to 04 people is an air-conditioned 6-seater SUV. For 05 to 10 people is an air-conditioned 10-seater van / Tempo Traveler. Rooms are generally provided on a twin-sharing basis, meaning there will be two people per room. In a booking of 3 people, you will be put into a 3-person room by default.
