Description
In my opinion, one who travels requires a guide to explore the hidden places of a city. I believe it’s important to do that yourself. To explore the vastness of what the city of Mumbai is, in few days, even months or years, is an incredible task. I strive to connect you to the beat of the city, the pulse, if you will. We take public transport. You move through the city like a Mumbaikar. I start the tour with exploring the biggest flower market of Mumbai. It’s scale, colours and fragrances are mind blowing! It’s a phenomenal spot for photography, to experience some local flavour, and hey, maybe even buy some flowers... by the kilo! ;) Next we head to a fishermen’s village that dates back to 800 years. It’s tucked right in the middle of one of the world's largest metropolises, yet you’d never know it once you’re there. Fishermen/women were the original inhabitants of Mumbai, so if you’re interested in the history of this massive city and how it came to be, you’ll get to know all those little tidbits along the way. After that, we transit to Dhobi Ghat. This is the worlds largest open-air laundromat! Over 100,000 pieces of clothing are hand-washed here in one day! The brilliance and diversity of the colours is something to behold! Also, try and smile! A smile and a head-wag can take you to places you’d never dream in India :) Other things to note 1. If you are interested in the tour but would like to do the same in Private Transportation, that can be arranged. 2. Flexibility in the pick-up or meeting point is possible. (subject to other guests) 3. Food tour can be combined with the tour itself. Please feel free to ask in case of any queriesIncludes
